When I found out that this sweet, adventurous couple from Colorado needed a photographer for their wedding in Iceland I immediately reached out to them! I had never met them before but I happened to follow Shea on Instagram. I loved following all of Shea & Reuben’s adventures via social media so it felt like I had already known them. I was so beyond excited to go back to Iceland after my husband and I just gone on our honeymoon there earlier in the year. I knew some really awesome spots that would make for some amazing photos.
The day before the wedding, Shea & Reuben scoped out the perfect spot for their ceremony. They found this beautiful waterfall that wasn’t very crowded with tourists. The only 2 obstacles; everyone had to climb a ladder up over a fence and grandma had to hike up a steep hill to the location. Good news, gram gram made it up on the hill and Shea changed into her dress in the middle of the hike LIKE A BOSS.
